Healing Hands Complete Care (HHCC) is an Australian-registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider, which aims at providing excellent services that positively impacts people with disability and their families and carers.

As a reliable and independent multicultural organisation, HHCC understands no two people are alike.

That is why the team is inclusive and offers pliable custom solutions to meet participants’ needs.

HHCC recognises the difficulties encountered with participants living with short or long term disabilities that can hinder daily activities and that is where its experienced staff help provide solutions, tailored to each participant.

Services are based in Blacktown and cover the following:

Social and community participation

HHCC’s community participation service offers support to help participants access their community for social and recreation activities under the supervision of qualified and experienced staff while working with families too.

Participants have the flexibility to choose an individual schedule of community and social participation to meet individuals goals, health and activity level, life stage, interests and changing support needs.

Capacity building and work experience

Participants can leverage HHCC’s expertise to provide them with a range of excellent programs including:

  • LLN activities / multimedia technology
  • Gentle exercise
  • Sensory activities
  • Art and craft therapy
  • Music therapy
  • Bowling
  • Fishing
  • Sports center / swimming
  • Pamphlet delivery, courier service, travel training
  • Car wash training, shopping skills

HHCC day programs are hubs of activity where groups of like-minded individuals are encouraged to learn, develop and explore the world of opportunities around them. 

Also provided are a huge range of in-home and personal care services that support adults with a disability. HHCC’s capacity building services is an intentional program aimed at delivering improved wellbeing outcomes for people with disability and their carers (in relation to health, education and quality of life outcomes).

Supported Independent Living (SIL) / Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

HHCC’s SIL support aims to help people living with disability, as independently as possible. Some of the broad range of services we cover, includes the following:

  • Help with daily living tasks like shopping, cooking and cleaning
  • Help with managing appointments
  • Developing individual plans to attain your goals
  • We have a wide range of properties in and around Sydney. Please be assured that we will work with you to find something that fits you just right.

The team will also support you with other day-to-day tasks like:

  • Personal care such as showering and dressing
  • Help with medication Learning to catch public transport
  • And many more

Allied Health Services

HHCC offers the services of Allied Health specialists who work with you to give you the best care possible at home or in the workplace.

The allied health team provides a broad range of diagnostic, technical, therapeutic and direct health services to improve the health and wellbeing of the consumers they support. Services include:

  • Physiotherapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Dietetics
  • Social work
  • Exercise physiology

Also on offer are music therapists, art therapists, counsellors, speech and language pathologists and psychologists.

Assistance with daily life

Support workers can go to participants’ homes for short periods of time to help with tasks such as morning and evening routines. The duration of services can range anywhere from several hours per week to several hours per day, depending on NDIS funding.

The ultimate aim is to enable participants to complete daily life tasks and achieve their goals. Some examples of the services you can receive include:

  • Help with bathing and dressing
  • Help with medication
  • Assistance with cleaning and gardening
  • Help with managing personal appointments
  • Gardening
  • Shopping
  • And more

Respite / Short Term Accommodation (STA) / Medium Term Accommodation (MTA)

HHCC’s Short and Medium Term Respite accommodations are one of the best available anywhere!

The company’s well-trained staff ensure that personal and warm hearted care is provided to each client to ensure a homely, safe and enjoyable stay. This is a viable alternative when one is faced with the following:

  • A crisis occurs
  • When the carer has to travel
  • Going through recovery after a serious illness
  • During these times, we understand that it is important to receive quality care, no matter the duration of your stay – whether it is two to six weeks (Short-Term Stay) or unto 90 days (Medium Term Stay)

During a stay in one of HHCC’s self-contained accommodation, highly-trained staff will help participants remain connected with their family, carer and the community by providing the following services:

  • Partial/fully accessible stay
  • Community participation
  • Independent living skills
  • Daily personal support
