Accessible Care & Lifestyle Services (ACALS) is a vibrant, innovative and strong multicultural organisation that provides quality care to people in the community, presenting them with options in aged and disability care that doesn’t take away the precious freedom of independence and choice.
The company is NDIS registered and is the perfect one-stop shop for an expert care team of leaders, service advisers, case managers, coordinators, and all community care services.
The team is formed by a group of highly experienced, dedicated and driven qualified professionals, that have more than 20 years of accumulated experience in the provision and coordination of supports as well as care provision.
ACALS covers a wide area across Sydney including South Western Sydney, inner Sydney, Macarthur region and the Southern Highlands.
The provider offers many services including:
Support coordination: The team likes to focus on strengthening participants’ ability to coordinate your support and assist them live at home and participate in the community. They help participants identify, choose and connect with service providers that best meet your needs:
NDIS services: The friendly and experienced support workers provide assistance with personal tailored support to help participants with at-home assistance with everyday personal tasks such as bathing, showering, dressing and undressing, getting in and out of bed, toileting, meal preparation.
They offer training and development activities to increase ability to live as autonomously as possible
Support is provided individually to participants and can be provided in a range of environments, including their own home:
Community access and transport: ACALS offers support to enhance a client’s abilities to travel independently and help them participate in the community and in social and civic activities that encourages the development of a participant's ability to partake in the activities of their choice.
Whether clients need to go to school, educational institution, employment, the community, or if they are unable to travel by any other means, the friendly team will be there for participants, from day programs and other social, recreational or leisure activities to getting to work, looking for work, or studying.
Social and recreational activities: Helping participants take part in group-based community, social and recreational activities is a major goal. The activities and experiences that are part of the program are designed to enrich the lives of participants from a holistic approach.
Programs include important developmental areas such as social, emotional, physical, cognitive and language and can take the form of weekly group activities such as:
Accommodation a Supported Independent Living (SIL): ACALS offers help with daily life tasks in a group or shared living arrangements.
The team will provide help with and/or supervising tasks of daily life in a shared living environment, either temporary or ongoing, with the focus on developing your skills to live as autonomously as possible.
This can include things like having a person to help with personal care tasks or cooking meals. You can get SIL if you live in a home with other people or even if you live on your own, but there might be other Personal Care Supports that suit you better.
Gardening: Experienced and fully equipped gardeners tend to all gardening maintenance needs, from lawn mowing, edging, hedging, weeding, rubbish removal and all gardening services.
Home maintenance (builder and handyman services): Changes to the structure, layout or fittings of a participant’s home so they safely access it and move around comfortably in areas they frequently use.
Licenced builders, tilers and waterproofers follow occupational therapists and clients’ plans for all home and bathroom modifications.
Hoarder rubbish removal and spring cleaning: The ACALS team will do all the work in clearing properties of any unwanted clutter. Experience the relief of a clutter-free life after all your unwanted rubbish has been removed.
Aged care: ACALS takes the time to get to know all participants to ensure they get the support they need in the home and the community. A wide range of services are offered to ensure everyone gets the right support for their situation.
Home Care Packages (HCP): If you need some help and need assistance at home in order to live independently, you can get support from My Aged Care.
