The New South Wales Government has told disability workers aged 16 years and over who live in a local government area (LGA) of concern they must receive at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by Monday, 6 September to attend work.
Disability providers must request their employees, who live or work in an area of concern, to receive their first dose of vaccine by Monday in line with the NSW Government requirements, to continue to provide service to people with disability.
These LGAs include: Greater Sydney: Bayside, Blacktown, Burwood, Campbelltown, Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland, Fairfield, Georges River, Liverpool, Parramatta, Strathfield, and some suburbs of Penrith. Visit https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules/affected-area to find out more.
