COVID-19 vaccinations increase along with volume of NDIS participants and providers

23 September 2021

Rising COVID-19 vaccinations, along with increasing numbers of NDIS-approved participants and providers is the perfect recipe for a brighter future!

New government COVID-19 vaccine rollout figures show 10,006,715 Aussies are fully vaccinated - around 48.5% of the population - with that figure tipped to hit 70% by the end of October.

So by the time the Disability Connection Expos 2022 roll around, thousands of participants and hundreds of NDIS business providers will be in a prime position to get out there and make vital connections once again.

As vaccinations climb, so too are the number of participants and providers.

Recent figures show the number of participants with NDIS-approved plans has increased 19% over the past year, from 391,999 to 466,619 to June 30, while the number of providers has risen a steady 11% over the same period to around 16,525 since the Scheme started.

Those figures, combined with the number of COVID-19 vaccine doses growing by around 332,000 every day means the Disability Connection Expos 2022 are on track to be bigger, brighter and safer than ever before!

Here’s a taste of what you will get from our expos:

  • A special NDIS Q&A Concierge Desk, manned by experts to answer any and all of your questions and direct you to those who can help further
  • Thousands of NDIS participants, their carers and families through the doors
  • Hundreds of NDIS providers, specialists in their fields, to help you with goods and services
  • A special expo app to research all the exhibitors before you even leave home, and even pre-book appointments with providers in special rooms we have set aside
  • Planned entertainment, displays and activities across both days. The visitors will have more time to explore more exhibits while having fun. They won’t want to go home!

So many reasons to get out there and be part of this exciting event; to make strong connections in the disability field and explore new possibilities.

All events and venues will be COVID-safe with stringent cleaning schedules and sanitiser stations and there will be hundreds of exhibitors, all experts in their fields, on hand to help answer your questions, guide you through the NDIS maze and provide you with vital goods and services.

Thousands of visitors will flock to each venue, vaccinated and fresh out of restrictions and lockdowns and chomping at the bit to make valuable connections with NDIS providers.

The volume of exhibitors, participants and carers plus the encouraging prediction of COVID-19 vaccination figures equals perfect timing for the expos!

What better way of starting a new post-pandemic chapter than heading to an expo.

With up to 60% of exhibitor sites already booked for most expos, if you’re not onboard now you better be quick!:
